Mind Outside Body

”The Mind is outside of the physical body.”

Every day there are more and more scientific studies on the mind, indicating that what yogis have been saying for thousands of years is true.

The mind is the seat of consciousness, but really, Where is it? Is it in the brain?

Until now, the common understanding of people is that the mind is a product of brain activity, firing neurons and a result of the electrical-chemical exchange that they produce. But today our understanding is changing. Various scientific studies have shown that the mind is both inside and outside of the body.

The portion inside the body is not only confined to the brain, but rather to the millions of receptors that we have in the cells that perceive changes in our surroundings and within us simultaneously, informing the physical brain, where all this information is integrated.

There is also a portion of the mind that is outside the body and can be downloaded through the human brain. This would explain why there are people with paranormal sensory capacities, being able to perceive the future, or the past of another person just by 'tuning in'.

One of the universal laws of the Kybalion, coming from the ancient Egyptian wisdom, says that

“The All is mind; the universe is mental."

If the All is mind, then it means that what we call 'our mind' is only the part of the great universal mind that we are able to access.

This opens up many other questions in itself, such as,

What is memory? and Where is it stored?

and also why do we generate mental patterns or habits? and what would be the best way to modify them when they are not beneficial to us?

One thing for certain is that this would explain why religions say that God is both inside you and outside, in everything else.

If we have the ability to understand how this universal mind works, we can then relate to the forces of nature and this reality at a higher level.

Could this explain why prayer works? when we send a signal to the universal mind being just an extension of ourselves and activating our potential capacities?

Let me know your ideas in the comments.
