This site shows you music and words; it does not follow you around the internet. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking or analytics service, and no analytics cookie. The site keeps only what you choose to send it, plus the modest technical record described below.
When you write through the contact page, your name, email address, inquiry type and message are delivered to Daniel as an email via Resend, an email delivery service. The message lives in the site’s inbox like any correspondence; it is not shared or sold.
Joining the newsletter stores your email address (and, if you give it, your name) in the site’s own subscriber store, hosted on Vercel’s storage. When a mailing-list provider (Resend) is connected, your entry may be mirrored there so announcements can be sent. To unsubscribe or be removed entirely, write through the contact form and it will be done.
The site runs its own small, first-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no external service. Each pageview records the page path, the referring site, your browser’s user-agent string, your approximate location (country and city), and your IP address. This information is visible only to the site owner and is used to understand which pages resonate. Aggregate statistics are built from identifiers that are hashed and rotated daily; a separate hashed key groups one visitor’s pageviews together. Known bots and the site’s own administrator are excluded.
Visitors receive no cookies from this site. A single session cookie exists solely for the site administrator’s login.
The music page embeds Bandcamp players, which are iframes served by bandcamp.com and may set their own cookies under Bandcamp’s policy. Video thumbnails on the media page load from YouTube’s image servers. Those services see the ordinary technical details of any image or frame request.
